The central square of Brussels’ Old Town, known as the Grand Place or Grote Markt, is just a 10-minute walk from our hotel. Most of the impressive Baroque style buildings surrounding it were raised in the 17th.
Your hotel near Manneken Pis
Brussels’ most famous tourist attraction is a small bronze statue named Manneken Pis – the “Little Pissing Man”. It shows a naked boy who appears to be urinating into a fountain. For holidays, he gets dressed up in various costumes. The 900 outfits are on display in the City Museum. The current statue was made in 1916, though previous iterations have been in place since at least 1388.
A 5-minute walk from the Grand Place, Manneken Pis is close to our hotel and in easy walking distance. Nearby you will find other sights such as the Brussels Cathedral, the Mont des Arts and the Comic Strip Center.
